Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the process of getting custom cabinetry?

    1. Quote

After your enquiry, we provide a quote for cabinetry and installation. If you're unsure of your design, we can attend the site to discuss and take measurements. You can also visit our factory/showroom at 51 Cavendish Road, Coorparoo, to see cabinet finishes, hardware, and benchtop samples.

    2. Design

Once the quote is accepted, a 20% deposit is required. We then create design renderings with your chosen colours and finishes for approval.

    3. Fabrication

After approval, a 30% payment is requested. Materials are ordered, and your cabinetry is fabricated with precision.

    4. Installation

Cabinets are delivered and installed. Payment of 40% is requested upon delivery. If stone benchtops are included, 20% is paid upon cabinet installation and 20% upon stone installation.

    5. Completion

The final 10% is requested once installation is fully completed.

  • How long will it take for my cabinetry to be ready?

Projects generally take 4–6 weeks, but this may vary based on demand and material availability.

  • What areas can I get cabinetry for?

We provide cabinetry for kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, offices, entertainment units, and alfresco areas. If unsure, please send an enquiry.

  • How do I choose the design and finishes of my cabinetry?

    Cabinetry Finishes

Melamine — Affordable, multiple colours/wood grains, matt or smooth finishes. Vertical surfaces only.
2Pac — Painted finish, multiple profiles, premium option. Samples available in our showroom.

    Hardware

Choose from a variety of metals and finishes in our showroom, or provide your own handles.

    Benchtops

Stone or laminate options, with various thicknesses and edge profiles. Samples available at our showroom.

    Splashbacks

Available in stone, laminate, or glass.

  • What if there is an issue with my cabinetry after installation?

If defects caused by our team appear, including chips or scratches, we will return and fix them at no extra charge.

  • How do I organise trades?

Depending on your renovation, you may need electricians or plumbers. We can provide recommended companies if needed.

  • Do I order appliances separately?

We can quote appliances through Winning Appliances or RT Edwards. If using your own, we'll need measurements to ensure cabinetry fits correctly.

  • How long am I without a functioning kitchen?

If removing an old kitchen, this is typically done the day before installation. Laminate benchtops are installed same day or shortly after. Stone benchtops are templated within 2 days and installed roughly 1 week later, depending on demand.

  • How long does installation take?

Installation usually takes 1 day but can take 2–3 days if removal or multiple rooms are involved. Exact timing is communicated before delivery.

  • What is the process of getting stone installed?

After cabinetry installation, a stonemason templates the stone benchtop within 2 days and installs it roughly 1 week later, depending on demand.

  • How do I know when the room where the cabinetry is being installed is ready for check measure?

Our team conducts a check measure to confirm that your finalised cabinetry design will fit perfectly following the initial site measure.

If your space is being renovated, the room should be close to completion before this step.  Ideally:

    • Walls and ceilings are fully sheeted

    • Flooring is installed, or a clearly defined finished floor level is established

As cabinetry is typically one of the final stages, having these elements completed ensures accurate measurements and helps the installation process run smoothly.

Not sure if your room is ready? Get in touch with our team and send through a few photos—we’re happy to help you determine if it’s ready for a check measure.
