Ordering Process

Six steps from first contact to finished installation. A standard kitchen project runs 7–9 weeks from deposit to completion.

Quote

Getting started is straightforward. Contact us at info@candrcabinets.com.au or call (07) 3397 6779 and let us know what you're after.

We offer two quoting options: an on-site visit where we take measurements and talk through your vision in person, or a detailed email quote if you can provide measurements and specifications yourself.

For email quotes, please include:

  • Accurate measurements of the space
  • Preferred cabinet finish — Melamine or 2Pac
  • Benchtop preference — laminate or stone
  • Handle style (if known)
  • Any inspiration photos that capture your vision

Design & Deposit

1–2 weeks

Once you're happy to proceed, a 20% deposit confirms your order and gets the design process underway. Our team prepares detailed floor plans, and for more complex projects, 3D renders so you can see what your new cabinetry will look like before anything is built.

This is the stage to refine colours, finishes, handle styles, and layout. We work through revisions with you until the design is exactly right — no production starts until you've signed off.

3D renders are prepared after your deposit, and aren't required for every project — we'll let you know if yours calls for one.

Production

4–5 weeks from deposit

Once design is approved, a further 30% payment is required to begin fabrication. All cabinetry is built in-house at our Coorparoo workshop by our own tradesmen — we don't outsource construction.

Each cabinet is precision-cut, assembled, and finished using quality materials and hardware. Production typically takes 4–5 weeks depending on the size and complexity of the project.

Building in-house means we control quality at every step, and can accommodate last-minute changes more easily than larger operations.

Pre-Installation

Concurrent with production

Before anything leaves the workshop, every cabinet is checked against the original specifications — dimensions, finish, hardware, and fit. Custom components and fittings are verified so that installation day runs without surprises.

Delivery is scheduled with you directly. If removal of existing cabinetry is required, this is typically arranged for the day before installation.

Installation

1–2 days on site

Our team delivers and installs your cabinetry. A standard kitchen installation takes one day; larger projects or those involving removal of existing cabinetry may take two to three days. You'll be given a clear timeline before delivery.

40% of the project cost is due on delivery. Laminate benchtops are installed on the same day. If you're having a stone benchtop, templating is booked within two days of cabinet installation.

If you're having your old kitchen removed, we schedule that for the day before to minimise the time you're without a working kitchen.

Stone & Splashbacks

~1 week after installation

Stone benchtops are templated within two days of cabinet installation. The stone fabricator then cuts and finishes the benchtop, which is typically installed within seven days of templating.

Splashbacks, final hardware, and any remaining fittings are completed once the stone is in. The final 10% of the project cost is due on completion.

Total time from deposit to fully finished: typically 7–9 weeks for a standard kitchen.
